Cyber Advisory for Leadership-Level Risk Decisions
Independent guidance for boards and executive teams navigating complex cyber risk.
I’m the Advisor for You if:
You want cybersecurity decisions grounded in business risk — not technical opinion
You’re done reacting to incidents and want to proactively reduce their impacts going forward
You need clarity on the level of investment required to achieve an acceptable risk posture
Your organization’s security capability has grown unevenly and requires focused prioritization
Your leadership team needs a clear, defensible view of cyber risk exposure and trade-offs
You value independent guidance that challenges assumptions and drives follow-through
You want leadership-level guidance, not another security vendor perspective
You want an advisor who supports leadership while holding decision-makers accountable
Advisory Philosophy
Cybersecurity gaps rarely result from a single poor decision. They emerge from many reasonable business choices made over time — choices that, collectively, create exposure and unpredictable security costs.
Accountability for that exposure sits with leadership. Cyber risk is a business risk shaped by decisions about growth, cost, speed, and architecture. When those trade-offs are made without clear risk understanding, organizations inherit consequences they did not intend.
My role is to translate cybersecurity exposure into business impact that leaders can evaluate and act on. Executive teams and boards often receive information that is technically accurate but operationally meaningless. Clarity changes behavior — and behavior determines outcomes.
I shift leadership perspective on cyber risk, uncovering the hidden costs of current decisions before an incident forces painful clarity. I provide direct, independent guidance grounded in breach leadership experience, and I work with clients to establish clear ownership, disciplined decision-making, and sustained follow-through.
Qualifications
I advise executive teams and boards on cybersecurity risk, governance, and investment decisions. My perspective is grounded in more than 28 years of leadership experience within Fortune 500 environments, including senior roles in large-scale breach recovery and enterprise security transformation.
I have directed complex cybersecurity and technology initiatives across global organizations, leading cross-company teams of up to 200 professionals and guiding programs that materially affected operational continuity, regulatory exposure, and enterprise risk posture.
My experience spans high technology, financial services, natural resources, consumer and industrial sectors, and government organizations. This breadth informs a practical, business-aligned approach to cybersecurity leadership and decision-making.
